**Please note, we are not a part of this giveaway, but we wanted to share this amazing opportunity for the chance to receive some helpful equipment.**
Eligible volunteer fire departments in the USA and Canada will again, in 2022, receive new, state-of-the-art Globe turnout gear. This is all thanks to the annual Globe Gear Giveaway program by DuPont Personal Protection in collaboration with MSA and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC). This year’s program will see up to 13 volunteer fire departments in need receive a total of 52 helmets, 52 jackets, and 52 pants to support their work. All fire departments are encouraged to apply as long as they meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Located in the U.S. or Canada and legally organized under state/province law.
- Demonstrate a need for the gear
- Serve a population no larger than 25,000.
- Over 50% volunteer.
- Member of the NVFC. NB: MSA will provide complimentary memberships to the first 500 applicants.
For the comprehensive program criteria, potential applicants may go to www.nvfc.org/gear and apply by June 1st, 2022.
After the application period is over, selection will be done after which winners will be announced monthly from July to December. Participants can follow the announcements on the NVFC website site. They can also subscribe to the NVFC’s Dispatch newsletter, and follow the Council’s Facebook and Twitter pages, alongside the Globe Facebook page.
